The Brooklyn Kayak Company BKC 12.0 Modular sit-on-top kayak tracks well and handles nimbly, responding well to each paddle stroke. It has multiple spots for upright storage of fishing poles. It has carrying handles built in the sides, bow, and stern of the hull. It has large forward and rear cargo areas with bungee tie-downs as well as a sealed storage hatch in front of the seat. And of course, that seat is adjustable for the paddler’s comfort.
Besides having all the quality features of any other BKC sit-on-top kayak, the modular BKC 12.0 modular kayak is ideal for portability and storage. It can be conveniently broken down into three smaller sections for easy transport — say, in the back of an SUV or pickup truck instead of atop a dedicated kayak rack — and for easy storage at home. You could even carry each section of the kayak up the stairs or in an elevator of an apartment or break it down and store each section on the shelf in a garage or shed.
