Sold outThe Brooklyn 12.0 Pro Single Pedal Kayak is the newest innovation in the PK Series Kayaks. We have taken customer feedback and years of product development experience to offer you a fresh new design.
The BKC PK12 Sit-On-Top Pedal Drive Single Kayak offers extended legroom and increased storage capacity. It has a plethora of features that an experienced kayak fisherman or distance travelers will love while remaining compact, lightweight, and agile in craftsmanship.
The core of the BKC PK12 sit-on-top single pedal kayak is a streamlined roto-molded UV-protected HDPE hull measuring 12 feet long and nearly 3 feet wide. No matter the conditions, the PK12 is ready to cruise: it rides currents, slices through the chop, and glides over still water with effortless grace. The craft weighs only 70 so carrying it is as easy as you think thanks to the built-in handles at the bow and stern and on either side of the hull.
However, it's the pedal drive system that should most excite. The bicycle-style pedals turn a high-efficiency propeller, allowing you to tuck your paddle into the kayak's paddle keeper and go hands-free. The pedals have adjustable straps to keep your feet secure, and the entire system can be removed for traditional paddling if you prefer or upgraded with a trolling motor for greater power and speed.
The Brooklyn Kayak Company BKC PK12 single-pedal kayak can be controlled via its hand-operated rudder, which allows for sharp, precise turns or slow, wide arcs as conditions merit. It features a large watertight hatch set into the bow and an additional compartment tucked behind the seat, both of which feature dry bag inserts that can safely stow items such as a wallet, keys, and snacks.
The kayak has a large rear cargo area with bungee tie-down straps; this area is ideal for bulky items such as a tackle box or dry bag. Scupper holes allow water to drain out of the kayak and can be sealed with included scupper plugs. We have also added drainage in the nose so kayaks now have a faster way to drain out at the end of the day.
Fishermen will appreciate the duo of flush-mounted rod holders that can keep a rod out of the way during travel or keep lines in the water during trolling, and all paddlers will be thrilled by the comfortable, ergonomic aluminum frame upright seat that comes with the kayak.

- Extras Included: This collapsible kayak comes with a flipper drive system, an upright aluminum seat, 3 flush mounted rod holders, and a full-sized paddle
Imagine if, at the end of a road trip or a daily commute, you could fold your car in half and stash it in the garage, driveway, or parking space with your vehicle taking up 50% of the room it normally occupied. Well, we can’t help you there. But hey, Brooklyn Kayak Company does now offer a kayak you can literally fold in half, so maybe you can pop it into the trunk of your car or the bed of your truck when your paddling is done for the day. And you can stash the BKC FPK8 Foldable Kayak in even a small garage, shed, or basement thanks to its pioneering foldable hull.
But don’t think this kayak is a featherweight just because it folds up small! The BKC Foldable Kayak has an impressive 380-pound total carrying capacity and its hull is eight feet long and three feet wide, so it offers superior tracking and stability.
And this folding kayak is great for anglers too! It features four-rod holders, so the fisherman can keep plenty of lines in the water, it has a large rear storage area and a sealing forward cargo hatch, and it has a pair of built-in cupholders.
And of course, the Brooklyn 8.0 Foldable Kayak also comes with a pedal-operated propulsion system and a hand-operated rudder that, together, can help you cruise over the water at speed and turn tightly. The kayak comes with an adjustable upright seat for comfort while fishing, pedaling, or paddling, and we throw in a full-sized paddle, so you can ply the waters by foot power, arm-and-core strength, or you can pedal and paddle for real zip.
Then, when your kayaking adventure is complete, you can easily pull your BKC 8.0 Folding Kayak out of the water using any of its several convenient carry handles and then fold it in half for easy transport and storage.

While zipping around the river, lake, or bay atop the Brooklyn Kayak Company modular pedal kayak, you can easily forget its best features! This sit-on-top modular kayak has a responsive, ergonomic flipper-style pedal drive system - that coupled with paddling - makes it one fast yak! In addition to the advanced pedal drive system, this modular kayak comes with a hand operated rudder for directional agility and control, cargo storage areas in the front and back, bungee tie-downs, and a water-tight hatch near the seat.

Also, it’s a pretty great conversation starter when you casually break your yak in half and toss the pieces into the back of your SUV or truck.

The Brooklyn Kayak Company 12.5 Pedal Drive Single Kayak was created to cruise. This long, slender, stable kayak slices through all types of water at top speed, especially when you use the pedal-driven propeller and a trusty paddle at the same time. The smooth, responsive pedals feature adjustable foot straps and keep the propeller whirling at speed, while the hand-operated rudder gives you excellent directional control with minimal effort required.
The BKC 12.5 Single Pedal Kayak has a total weight capacity of 550 pounds, so you can load it up with gear, hop aboard, and set off for an all-day excursion or even a multi-day adventure.
Not only is the BKC 12.5 kayak ready to cruise at speed, but it's also an ideal choice for the long-distance traveler. The kayak features a spacious rear cargo area with bungee tie-down straps perfect for securing a cooler, tackle box, duffel, or dry bag, and water-resistant storage hatches built into the hull with dry bag inserts included. The bow also features bungee straps great for tucking mid-sized items like a raincoat or helmet.
The chair of the BKC 12.5 Single Pedal Kayak is built around a lightweight but sturdy aluminum frame and has a padded and supportive backrest and seat. The Brooklyn Kayak 12.5 single fishing kayak has scupper holes that allow for drainage of any water that gets into the kayak and comes with scupper plugs that can seal these holes when choppy water splashes up through the hull. A paddle keeper system allows you to secure your paddle to the hull when you're not using it, and the craft has four carrying handles that make overland transport and/or loading onto a car or trailer safe and easy.
